6 year old F Beagle mix needs new home (my sister is long-term hospitalized)

My sister can no longer take care of her dog due to long term health issues. My mom and I have been taking care of it in the interim, but aren't allowed to keep it at her apartment much longer. We really want to find a good home for Lottie (6 year old female dog, house trained, potty trained, and people/children friendly; about 40 pounds) and not take her to an adoption shelter. All shots and medical records are on hand and up to date; Lottie is in good health.
