This was a problem in Columbus around 2021. The cops cracked down on it pretty quickly and now I don’t ever see any

True. The reason came after a stolen car was run into a house, catching it on fire, and a disabled woman burned alive. It’s not worth it.
And they just take off and cops aren’t catching them anyway, until they crash. Which happens a lot.

Nothing to see here but just another part of 'black culture'...like fatherless kids, welfare 'life-style',loud talking and cell phoning in movie theatres,uninsured/non registered motor vehicles, profane rap 'music',horrendous aim/marksmanship with fire-arms,lack of self control/self reliance, dim block voting...any others to add ? lol

Was pretty normal in NOLA when I was there. Saw that once a week on Canal, I-10, Carrolton.

JPSO will not pursue them on the Westbank either. Watched a pair doing this crap on Barataria going against the traffic... watch JPSO just drove by them and keep going.

I mean I undestand why. Trying to use 3-4 police cruiser Tahoes in city traffic to catch 20+ 4-wheelers and motorbikes could cause utter havoc and injuries to innocent folks.

It was one of the many strikes against NOLA when we decided to move. My time there was great but the city was just not getting its act together.

We got swarmed once by the 4-wheeler crew on I-10 out by MIchoud. They weren't interested in us, but it's a harrowing experience to know that one slip and you could flatten a kid. Slowed down to 30-40 and let them pass.

Went to a concert in the French Quarter last night and I was taking a turn onto Canal Street to head home, I was nearly run off the road by a pack of guys on 4 wheelers going insane and burning out all over Canal. Cops were just looking at them. These guys were running people off the road. I had to go about 10 mph to not hit one and be sued for everything I own.

I went for a walk at night in the Gir Forest National Park and almost got mauled by a pack of lions.

Sometimes crazy things happen where you least expect it.

I’m sure tOT would love to know they crash quite often. Medical calls on those things are the norm.

Eh, don't love it, because you know the medical bills won't get paid and those costs just gets passed to people with health insurance.

Nola has 600 active cops and even if they catch them, they won’t be paying the fines nor will the DA be prosecuting them if they have any outstanding attachments/warrants.

Pretty sure it’s from the consent decree that Landrieu and Obama entered into and the fed court judge that won’t dissolve it.
