-Picadilly - Casual dining restaurants like Chili's and Applebees seem to be eating them alive. I'm not sure why they seek out free standing locations no where near business centers. I can't think of any business that has made so many mistakes and still end up staying open.
-Don's seafood (Airline location) - They are open because they are popular...but the popularity is a mystery to me. I've been there three or four times and I thought the food was terrible. I haven't been in years so maybe they shut down. It seems silly to drive 20 minutes into the ghetto, fight for a parking space, and eat bad food. I've been too the locations in Lafayette, and found them to be only slightly better.
- Red Lobster in South Louisiana- Most casual seafood chains steer clear of south Louisiana. The local areas are well served by the home grown businesses, who usually serve better quality food for lower prices. Red Lobster is still scarce in south Louisiana, but they have had a location in New Orleans for a long time and have recently opened one in Baton Rouge. Are they even busy?
