.25 Cent Shave Club - Get In On This, OT Gentlemen

I understand most of you are quick to fall for gimmicks like #DollarShaveClub, but I feel a pressing need to share with my OT brethren a revolutionary way to get ahead of the shaving industry and their schemes to separate you from your hard earned cash.
While most of your chemical plant supervisors don't require you to shave everyday, for those of us who wear a collar to work, I hope this is enlightening and shows you what you've been missing. I still see regular threads on the best way to cut-down on shaving costs. I can keep this to myself no more. You're welcome.
Get on over to Amazon and invest in these for an economical shave that is closer and healthier for your skin:
1. Merkur Razor ($23)
2, Badger Shaving Brush ($8)
Cella Italian Shaving Lotion ($11)
100 Feather Blades ($25)
The initial investment is $60-70, but I know a true OT gentleman is keen for a solid business plan and forward-thinking; he understands this is the only way to go. For a quarter a piece, throw one in every 3/4 days and keep your face healthy. At this pace, 100 blades will last you all 52 weeks of the year.

Do you have to learn how to really shave with those things? I feel like I'd butcher myself raw the first couple months I tried those blades.

Thank you, Sherman. Yes, you may select from any number of shave soaps available on the Internet or your local barber shop.
Sherman apparently favors Taylor of Old Bond Street.

Yep - great creams with some amazing scents.

It's surprisingly simple.
As long as you don't use pressure and shave with the grain, you'll be blowing up your set like Gregory Peck in no time.

If you are buying a badger brush for $8 you aren't getting quality badger (silver tip). It is likely a shite brush.
It'll be a rat hat.

Yes you do, I had this set up for about 6 months and finally gave up bc I cut myself every damn time.

If you can't master this simple single-blade, then you need to turn in your man card and go back to sharing Schick Venus razors with your wife.

You are not doing it right.
I'm only 40 years old and been using these razors for 20 years.
You have to know how to use them.

upgrade the brush to an omega boars hair for about $11-12 and then you have a really nice kit.
feathers maybe a little too sharp for someone just learning but no doubt a solid choice.

Not a brush, but absolutely cream. Doesn't matter what kind, can even use what you use now.

Merkur Razor ($23)
Get the Futur for 45-60$.

100 Feather Blades ($25)
Or 100 Gillette Super Stainless (Green pack) for 10-15. Much smoother than feather imo. Voskhod if you want an even cheaper blade that's pretty good.
Taylor of old bond street is an absolute must. Btw the sandalwood aftershave by taylor gets a ridiculous amount of compliments as well.
Have fun and shave wet.

I bought the all the shite you pictured. I didn't get the hype. Went back to the modern 4-5 blade. Just like the convenience of picking up my unsophisticated modern razer and finish shaving in 45seconds.
Yall can have your gadgetry, I'll keep my uncouth but quick and easy shaving method.

My grandfather stopped using these because there was a better mouse trap. My father stopped using these because they are a pain in the arse to use. I have no need to go back in time on this one

You're exactly right on this. There is no advantage to using these over modern shaving technology other than cost.
And no, you don't end up with as close a shave as when you use the modern stuff.
