I think that puts us at 100 with 3.5 months to go in 2022.

The solution to any personal disagreement now is to simply kill the person that you disagree with.

Rookie numbers.

They know the identity of the victim. They have no clue about anything else.

2020 still holds the record to beat, for now. Before this year is out, I expect 2022 to overtake 2020's record.

As many shootings that are reported in the news, I would have thought the number would be much higher.

170 is the record set last year. I doubt we get back there but Broome recently touted a decline in the murder rate and this could very likely be the 2nd or 3rd highest total in history, all under her watch

In the vicinity, for sure. Between I-110 and Park is a dozen or so blocks worth.

Not sure if it’s the same girl but there is someone on FB who is an LSU student who is a bartender at The Shed. Pictures don’t necessarily look like someone who would be killed in a bad drug deal.

Her Facebook profile is open enough (if that is actually her). Her age and LSU match the description in the article.

Nor would a 21 year old female generally be a threat to a drug dealer and his crew.

Yeah I’ve found 3 girls on Facebook with that name, and who are students at LSU. None of them look like the type that would be involved in a bad drug deal. Unfortunately, this was probably an armed robbery or something bad.
