might explore that option these were only 2 I've looked at so far....suprisingly the f150 was cheaper with XLT vs SR5

If you want fancy leather and all the techy stuff get the Ford, if you want something more sporty get the Taco. Also depends on how big of a guy you are, the Ford has more room.

The Tacoma being available with a manual was the clincher for me.

They're not really comparable vehicles other than being trucks.

Why not tacoma vs canyon/Colorado or 150 vs Tundra?

F150 is great. Xlt package has all the bells and whistles I was looking for. Tons of room in that thing.

Both keep their value pretty well.
