Just had an oil change a few weeks ago and a new piston installed 6 months ago. Truck went into limp mode yesterday and dealership is saying diesel is leaking into my oil. Asking me to go in tomorrow to discuss repair costs. Anyone know why this may be occurring? Could this possibly be occurring due to faulty work during oil change and/or piston replacement? TIA

Anyone know why this may be occurring?

Detroit automaker

Could this possibly be occurring due to faulty design and being built by worthless union employees?

Absolutely

Get r dones around here love f250s. 4x4 and jacked up. It's flat here never snows and every thing is paved and populated. Ford must make a killing on those both sales and service.

That's the worst Diesel engine ever put in a pickup truck.

Prepare your anus.

To answer your question though, I think that engine may have an oil lubed high pressure fuel pump.

Posting this in the Outdoor Board may give you some decent replies or maybe not. They like to discuss diesel trucks

Time for a new truck. That's going to cost thousands of dollars to fix.
