Crowd sucked IMO. Lower bowl was maybe 80% full. It was a freaking 3 pt game in the 3rd quarter and people were leaving. Half arse effort from the very beginning. The amount of fans that stayed sitting on their arse when the band took the field for pre-game was embarrassing. Not The Death Valley of ol...

Unfortunately more often than not, getting it done right costs. I highly recommend to add grade beams to stiffen your concrete up. 6ga wire mesh is secondary reinforcement. Use either post-tension foundation system, highway mesh or rebar in top of slab. ...

Control joints should be set no more than 2 1/2 x thickness of concrete with a max of 15’. 4” thick concrete would put joints at 10’ each way. Sidewalk joints should be set 5’ on center. If your contractor is not doing this, the likelihood of having additional cracking does go up significantly. ...
