OK, here goes
We bought a 2003 Highlander in 2005 from my Mother in Law.
It was her company car for her bank. It had 3K miles on it when we got it, and it rolled over to 200K this weekend.
It has been to 38 states (including D.C.), and back and forth from BR to NELA for what seems like several million times.
We are leaving for Hot Springs in it tomorrow
We had to get new brakes and roters a few years ago, and Our family friend and personal mechanic replaced the AC last year. My wife drives it everyday, and I'm currently teaching my 13yr old daughter how to drive in it.
It is a nice little jewel of a vehicle.
eta:
Our mechanic just gave it a thorough once over and replace some vacuum lines and a couple hoses. He does a nice little tune up every 3yrs or before a long trip for us, and says it's always "good to go." He says it will last forever as long as we take care of it.

We had a 2002 that was a great vehicle. Got rid of it about 18 months ago in a new vehicle trade.
I think the 03 is pretty much the same car. Good powertrain, reliable vehicle. 3K is a bit much, I'd go for about 2500.00 tops.
One thing. Check the air conditioner. The air conditioner control knobs in that car can short out. The knobs go to a board with a flat band wire harness. The wire harness is soldered to the board. In the 02, that wiring could wear loose from road vibration. its an 800 dollar fix at the dealer, though you can find videos yourself of how to fix it if you are good with a solder gun.

I have a 2002 with about 160,000 miles on it.
It is absolutely the most reliable and trustworthy vehicle I have ever owned.
I would pay $3k for that in a heartbeat.

I experienced this in mine, but fortunately the problem arose when I agreed to pay for a new stereo install with CarToys. My AC went out during the install. They paid for a new circuit board. Profit.
