Nigerian troops rescued 200 girls and 93 women Tuesday in the Sambisa Forest, the Nigerian Armed Forces announced on its official Twitter account.

quote:

The armed forces could not immediately confirm if any of the rescued girls were among the 200 schoolgirls the militant group Boko Haram kidnapped in April 2014 from the northeastern Nigerian village of Chibok. That abduction led to a social media movement, #BringBackOurGirls, to rescue them.

quote:

More than 200 schoolgirls abducted from their school dormitories by Boko Haram militants last year are not among the nearly 300 girls and women rescued in an army operation on Tuesday, an army spokesman said.

Well thank goodness for it. Not many will care here but it's a big deal there.

God's will they were taken. God's will they were rescued?

Who cares. You breathe. They breathe.

Of course he did. You going to imply that everyone that says the generic "thank God" is a firm believer in that? Stirring the pot.

these poor girls

lord only knows what kind of torment they went through while imprisoned by these animals.

Let's just hope they can overcome this the slightest bit and live some sort of normal life.

Get a life, it's an expression. Would the euphemism "thank goodness" been less objectionable? These fricking people.

Those of you who doubted the power of the hashtag should be ashamed of yourselves

The same God that gave us free wil? Yes.
The same God who calls us to use our free will for good, to love others, and to accept His love? Yes.
