Don't think that's ultimately what they say. Though I have always found it odd that one can end up spending more time in jail on that than what the underlying offense even allows for in the form of punishment.

I don't think any of the issues are quite as simple as the question seems to be. If they are saying there are no instances where an arrest warrant should be issued, I'd disagree with them however.

I think it's pretty clear that the feds recommend only issuing arrest warrants for delinquent cases that "affect the public safety."
Which means if you get a speeding ticket and decide you're not going to pay it, you're golden. Nothing will happen.

So MB was innocent and protests were warranted. #handsupdontshoot was legit? Ferguson PD was oppressing the citizens and keeping them from outing the racist military police force?
