A long gun is basically anything intended to be fired from the shoulder (longer barrel than a handgun), i.e. a rifle, shotgun, etc. I'm not an expert, and if anyone has better info, please correct me.

Our Leaders (and media), starting with the President, need to consciously focus on bridging the gap between law enforcement and the community. Instead, they have widen the gap for political gain which is extremely costly.

Just got out of there at 715. One officer will definitely pull through the other was rushed to surgery but was stable. The perp probably won't make it. Can't really give details due to not knowing who may see this on here.

Well there is no status on the suspect. No information about them being detained or arrested or dead.

Could not agree more. It's a smoldering powder keg that must be addressed.

Prayers for the two officers and their families involved in this tragedy. Those poor kids don't get paid nearly enough for the BS they have to encounter.

Thanks for the info. Being stable is an awesome sign for a successful surgery and good recovery. It leads me to believe the wound is not life threatening and that he will recover just fine.

I'd be interested as well, more from an age perspective. Too many cowboys out there and they come in all colors but when you peel back the onion their backgrounds are similar.

Somebody has declared war on the establishment. This is an abnormal amount of cops being shot in such a small frame of time in a peacetime at that.

Upvote, but if you think that our CiC is going to do anything about cops getting shot you're out of your mind. He'll more likely pardon the clown that shot these two cops than mention anything about how stupid the guy is to have done this.
