Honestly you telling me they couldn't pick a better picture for this young man? The media is all screwed up. I'm not even going to comment on the situation because I don't want IGNORANT people to comment. Praying for this family.
i think shanell wanted a picture of him when he was 12,so people would feel sorry for him. like we have all seen in the media lately instead of the 16 year old thug that's throwing up gang signs. oh and a canes worker but she don't want the ignorant people to comment. i do love some canes tho

Actually, I think this is a reference to Ferguson. As in, don't mess with us or we will riot, etc. At least that is the first thing that popped into my head when I read what she wrote.

What's the deal with a parole hearing? I thought 2nd degree murder in LA was life w/o parole?

He was 15 when the murder occurred. The USSC recently ruled life without probation/parole unconstitutional for juveniles

It's nice to know that not all gang signs are gang signs.

The problem is that I don't know how to differentiate between the two.

Technically all sins are supposed to be equal but it's a stupid fricking argument.

Not in Catholicsm. There is venial sin and mortal sin. Killing someone is a mortal sin.

All sin is definitely not looked at as equal.

Too bad his life wasn't over the moment his sperm donor squirted into his gibbous mother's gaping vagoo.

It really breaks my heart to think of a kid only a year older than my son to be sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison

I can't imagine what you have to do wrong as a parent to raise a murderer
