Finally some details on what actually went down:

Someone spotted a golden retriever puppy in a window.

New Orleans is completely safe. Shootings only happen in bad neighborhoods.

I would like to know the circumstances behind the shooting, maybe it was a domestic type thing?

The place is a cesspool of drunk and stupid people oblivious to the garbage that is lurking among them.

Sure odds are if somebody gets popped it won't be you, but your odds of not getting shot/mugged/arrested go up a whole lot when you are not drunk in NOLA.

This isn't a big deal.

It's culture. People love it.

So a shooting on the 17th floor of a hotel, where people from out of town are staying and are most likely the perpetrators, is a reflection of the city?

Interesting

Please don't bring logic to this thread... It doesn't fit the narrative

Such a dumbass comment. Typical of the rednecks who stumble up and down Bourbon and think they know anything about N.O.

Sure.

So is a couple of people getting shot a few weeks back. The NOLA fans blow it off like it's no big deal.

The place is a dump. It should be walled off and pallets of rims and 9mm bullets need to be dropped in. Let it sort itself out.

I was waiting for that. A totally different occurrence and one that deserves scrutiny. And as a Nola resident I can assure you it was indeed a big deal and was not blown off as you claim.

Tell that to the 9.28 million people that visited last year. We appreciate the more than $6 billion they spent here.

Your solution probably wouldn't have avoided this incident, fyi. Doesn't sound like this was your standard thug battle.
