Just to update this thread, SWAT team surrounded the house this morning that he was at and he put a bullet in his head before the police did it for him

Surgery was performed on 2nd officer last night and he's still fighting for his life.

The second officer is alive and has went through surgery. They said he was in critical condition

The officer who made it is the one who got shot in the head, he made it and he's fighting but it's not looking promising.

Read that the officer that died gave CPR to his buddy until he expired. He was found slumped over the guy in critical condition.

Other officer passed away. Not going to act like I was tight with the guy but quite a few of my friends were friends with both. Absolutely tragic that 2 men, both in their mid 20s, died doing their jobs

Heard on the local news that one of the officers was engaged to the other's sister. Horrible.

I actually think that is false but Smith was engaged to a girl with last name of Smarr. The friends I know that were close to the officers say they weren't related and just a coincidence though.
