2nd team all-pro...ravens thought he was gonna retire and didn't file IR paperwork so he's an unrestricted free agent

Saw this earlier. I would be for this a lot more if we hadn't spent so much on Klein, whom I'm not a big believer in. If he is willing to sign a prove it deal or a Klein type contract, but with protection built in incase his medical condition forces him to retire, then I would still go after him. He's young and would immediately be our best LB.

Don't forget to add off field behavior into that contract. Junior got us good. But, the front office are full of experts and never let this happen, right?

Exactly. We can't afford the all-pro mlb bc we signed a backup to a starter's contract already.

Sounds like this guy is definitely intent on making the comeback. Heading to the Lions for his 2nd visit and then the Jets tonight for his 3rd. Making the rounds for sure. Would be shocked if he left the NYJ without a deal in place.
