I believe this more than teams lining up to offer us first that fans think we just passed up.

It's not unbelievable. Saints fan are the only ones who thought Cooks should bring in multiple high picks and an impact defender in a trade.

Let's be real here. Cooks is an undersized burner who was the #2 receiver on our team. Happy we got a 1st for him.

I mean, Jenkins has turned into a pretty awesome safety in Philly, and we kind of need one. I hope Bell works out and would prefer an older stopgap for a year or two while we see if Bell can develop.

I question whether that was ever offered and shitty job saying where it came from, but it's not an awful offer.

Gotcha. His contract fairly reasonable. Apparently Philly mostly uses him covering the slot (which is a good use of him) and in the box (he mostly played FS with us). Maybe that's why his play improved. He'd be redundant with the inferior but still solid KV.

PFT is barely more respected than that dude from Canal Street Chronicles.

Are you saying all the women on this board overreacted?

I'd say a lot of us were duped by the media and idiots with "multiple sauces" on Twitter that really stirred the pot in making us think a king's ransom was coming for Cooks.

I'll even admit at one point I was thinking the Saints would net Butler and multiple picks for very little in return.

Now to sit back and think on it, it was silly.
