You can pass on a Heisman but not a Hall of Famer.

Fournette may not get the Heisman but in my opinion he is a future Hall of Famer and you don't pass on that in the draft. The highest draft pick Payton has had since with the team was 2 overall. That was a RB, Reggie Bush. The defense had to play up because of him which opened up seems. And if not for him in that NFC championship game we probably don't have a superbowl. And he ain't a pimple on fournette's arse. Fournette is there, you take.

Reggie Bush was a change of pace RB who was a great receiver so idk wtf you're comparing them for at all.

What makes you guys think we will even have a chance at drafting LF if we wanted to?

Point is he was a back that had to be respected out the backfield. Fournette doesn't have to come out the game on third down like an average back. He is as good as any back on blitz protection and receiving out the backfield. It's a mistake to pass on guranteed talent and go for need. Need is why we are screwed right now. They are constantly reaching for need.

This is just flat out not true.

No such thing especially at RB.

I doubt he goes no.1. They have more pressing needs than RB. But RIP to anyone that does go to that eternal dumpster fire.

Has he shown he can catch the ball yet? In Payton's offense that's huge

LF can do everything Bush could do, except LF is a BEAST runner.

Put it this way, Jeremy Hill would not have played if on the team with LF. And the Saints would love to have hill.

LF is a take, period. It's time the Saints quit fricking up with top LSU talent.

What in the...... Are you not old enough to remember Reggie playing in college? They are 2 very different runners.
LF is a downhill runner, a great one at that. But he has struggled to create is own at times when gaps are filled. Get him a head of steam though and he's gone.
Reggie Bush was not a power, run you over player, like LF but he was way more elusive.
You can't compare them at all

I'm terrified that Carolina is going to end up with Fournette.
