He played well for the Seahawks but they released him due to having a glut of centers. We're set with Unger but there's no one solid or experienced behind him.

He should be used to backing up Unger? Correct?

Allen was reportedly doing well in practice and was slotted in as Unger's backup but he's been awful in the games.
