Unfortunately, yes. I think there is hope for this team but not SB-level hope. Not in the next 1-2 years. Trading Drew and getting what we can for him right now would be a good decision.

No way we would get top ten pick for Brees.
The only teams that are going to pay a ransom prices are the ones that are just a QB away. After adding Brees, we would likely be getting back picks in the twenties.
