Yeah, Georgia only had athletic fund money into him. Colleges really have little concern about players future. They push players even more than the NFL IMO cuz they do not have millions of bucks invested in them. When a Lattimore is injured it doesn't affect their cap. They just toss them and move on with another of their gazillion recruits.
Here's another example... Jammal Brown. He was a #13. He was the first OT taken on '05. It was health and durability concerns that caused him to be that low. ( LINK
). He was good but those injury concerns proved to be true. Five years later he is traded for a conditional 3rd Rd pick. Since with the skins he has consistently been hobbled even when playing and was completely out last year.
