Not that they would trade him, but would you give up our first, Carr and Olave for Herbert?

What would it take? I guess our first will end up in the 9-15 range, so it won’t be that big of a pull.

Herbert is a better Qb than Watson.

So use that as your minimum.

There’s nothing the Saints could trade in order to make the Chargers let go of Herbert.

I would give up two 1sts, a 2nd, Carr, Olave, and a BJ for Herbert.

Are you joking?

There is nothing we could offer that they would take.

We would have to offer multiple, MULTIPLE 1sts. Like 5 of them. And they would still say "get fricked"

Saints have nothing to trade for him. And, even if they did, why would they make that trade? Basically give away what's left on our team worth keeping, plus a 1st, to bring him in and play with - who? Behind what line?

And even more, if the Saints were willing to trade everything for him and bring him down to be a one-man band, I doubt he'd have any interest and would fight the trade.

The Chargers are much closer to being a good team than we are, from a player's perspective. Their big detriment is their coach, so I doubt their star QB gets thrown under the bus for their dismal season and is traded.

Watson was coming off a year out of the league and a huge suspension looming, for some super creepy stuff, all kinds of legal trouble, AND they had to pay him a huge, fully guaranteed contract

and he had asked for a trade.

And they still got a pretty big offer. Herbert would be astronomical (it just wouldn't happen)

Of course we would give up that in a heartbeat, but the chargers would never take it

Doesn't Carr have a no trade clause?

Are you an adult? If so do you drive to work or does someone bring you?

1. Chargers aren't trading Herbert. No matter what you put together on ESPN trade machine

2. Minimum package would start at 4 1sts plus players

Olave, Lattimore etc

They honestly need to just shut this board down until next season.
