Now what does 'blow it up' mean? Honestly, I'd like to know. Trade players like Kamara, MT, Olave, Breese, or some of our most frequent pick-ups for picks in draft?

What do we do at QB?

you trade older players on 2nd contracts. MT, Kamara, Ram, maybe Lattimore. You keep Olave, and breese. You get out of cap hell and start a youth movement

We should have done that the year after Brees retired. He was the glue to the team being so good. Winston and now Carr won't cut it. If you don't have a future hall of fame QB you likely aren't going to win the Superbowl or go very far in the playoffs consistently.

I'm about at that point. But the only way out due to our salary cap situation is a total blow up and multi-year rebuild, which probably means a couple of 2-15, 3-14 type seasons.

Try to keep a couple of the younger defensive stars, but dump everyone else that has value. Take the cap hit. Be terrible. Build back the offense through the draft.

That is nice in theory, but you never know what you get in draft picks.

The Eagles starting QB was a 2 rd choice, they got one of the best defensive players in this past draft and he was picked in the teens.

#1 pick Baker Mayfield is on his 5th team

Sam Darnold was a 3rd pick and he is a backup

49ers look to have lucked out with Purdy

Getting the right players is a crap shoot. ( who would have thought 6th round pick Tom Brady would be HOF ?)

I admit I was excited when we signed Carr, but now , he has not impressed me

Saints aren't out of it yet.

I would send a message to the team.

Bench Carr and give Winston a shot for a few games and if he messes up, then give the rookie a look.

Pride and fear of losing your job and next contract is a powerful weapon.

See who steps up

I feel like you just have to get lucky on some QB from the draft. Some guys look great in college, then turn out to be busts.

Then you look at Brady, Rypien, Theismann, Starr, Staubach......

But we've already been terrible for 2-3 years.

They signed Carr to avoid that type of rebuild but honestly I think he will have the opposite effect.

I keep seeing this and I’m really struggling to understand this sentiment. Do y’all watch other teams? Just in the NFC you have the Eagles and 49ers with elite rosters that are much younger and talented than ours. Then you have Cowboys, Lions and Seattle that are clearly better than us. I don’t see any way we win a playoff game with this roster.

At the same time, I’m watching the NFC South teams, and this roster is more than capable of winning the division THIS YEAR! The only reason they won’t will be coaching.

Yes. Hire a offensive minded HC. Trade Kamara\Lattimore\MT13 for picks.

This is the year to trade a QB. Draft 2 of em. One in the 1st and one in later rounds just like the Redskins did with RGIII and Kirk Cousins.

Keep Olave\Sheed and other young talent.

You keep drafting QBs until you find the guy because nothing else matters. You can't win without a good QB

Players on older, most expensive contracts are traded, or cut, take the cap hits, have a lot of players on first contracts.

Build through the draft. You will have a couple of years with high levels of dead cap money, so you just suck through it.

We been mediocre not terrible. The goal of the rebuild would be similar to what Lions and Jags have done. For both teams qbs helped. Goff has surpsringly played well and TLaw has just hotten better. They also extremely better coaching staffs than us. What sucks is we had those lions coaches under Payton, we just picked the wring guys.
