Graham is still on the team.

Arenas is replacing Astante, so lateral move at best which has been Dom's M.O. and issue as a GM. He never seems to get ahead of needs, but only replaces what he looses with similar players.

Also we just picked up Arenas at CB, and a Safety soon as well hopefully.

FIFY

Y'all need a lot more than a CB and a safety

Pass rush is #1 priority for Draft, hoping we can get Khalil Mack, kid is a beast. He will most certainly put pressure on with the pass rush along with Osi.

First you said that you guys would get Robinson, to defend your point about your OL. Now you're saying you want Mack. Do you have a 2nd first round pick I don't know about?

My b ha, misread a headline about Graham. Good luck finding the cap space to keep him for much longer though.

Pass rush is priority 1, but if it's not there, we take OL, that simple.

Again, losing Graham and Sproles

you know we tagged Graham right? so his cap hit is already done.

eta: this continues to prove that ATL fans really have no clue whats up with the Saints and fabricate their own theories.

i get where people are coming from, but it honestly hasnt been a terrible thread. i dont mind good discussion with a rival as long as it stays reasonable.

Deflect the question...

Look, guy, Matt Ryan is not the winner you think (hope) he is.

Brees, Manning, Rodgers... These are guys that produce like no other. You can throw Brady in there as well.

In fact, Matt Ryan isn't even the 2nd best QB in the NFC South.
McCown is coming to take Matt's 3rd spot too

Actually his cap is accounted for this year. If/when he signs a long term deal, it will probably lower the cap number. Best case he signs a 4-5 year deal and continues to adjust Atl's goalposts. Worst case a team in the top 10 gives us 2 first round picks. I think he signs a long term deal or we keep franchise tagging him (as long as he remains a TE tag).

See I was wondering about this because he lines up at WR so much you'd think his agent would go after a WR tag.

It's clear he's a TE, always has been, always will be, but when he's lining up at WR 65% of the time, it's something to consider.

The issue with him is what defines a WR? A TE can stand next to the line and still be a TE. What happens when Graham lines up as a traditional TE and then goes in motion to a split out position?

Too much gray area to look at it like that. To me it is simple. TEs can split out as a WR, but I do not know any WRs that come down and lineup as a TE. He was drafted as a TE and Sean used him in a ton of different looks. A zone read QB is still a QB.
