I think he will see a lot of game time in this next game. Hope he stays healthy.

I disagree. He's been one of the few receivers that's shown us anything. I think if you think he's going to make the team, you sit him and play a lot of RJ Harris.

Good point. We need to realize that we will likely only keep 5 wr's, and only 4 will be active on game day, and only 3 will see significant snaps, and the RB and TE position will see their fair share of targets.

If Snead is the 4th wr, I could see him getting receptions in the 20's with a handful of TD's.

I hope this isn't the plan.

It's the plan for most teams. It may be a little different for the Saints because of their personnel changing, but it's essentially plays out the same way.

There's the running game, the screens, the throw to the tighends, and the occasional pass to the fullback.

I think we will keep more than 4 active this season because it's so even after Cooks and Colston

The TE position isn't what it used to be. It shouldn't/won't be as featured in out downfield passing game as previous years IMO.

Lance Moore is 5' 9", and he out-jumped people quite a few times. Dude just had ups. Remember him getting sandwiched between DBs in the end zone a few times? Maybe Snead can jump like that too.

All I know is we need an athletic, crafty little receiver like that. That slot guy can work the right DB when we spread it 5 wide.

That seems fair.

I think he could get 400-600 yards, which would be great.

Takes a lot of yards to add up to 5000. If Snead is healthy & has 400 yards receiving, then the Saints & Brees took a step back. CJ isn't Spoles. Watson isn't Jimmy. Another year on Colston. Maybe Cooks breaks the all time receiving record this year & saves our arse. The production has to come from somewhere.

He threw for 5k in 2008 without Colston for the full season, without a 1k receiver and with Devery Henderson as his #1

Deuce, Bush, P Thomas, Shockey, Moore, Meachem, Henderson, Colston, & B Miller. Probably the best talent the Saints have ever had on offense. That's a lot of balls to go around.

I hope you're kidding

Bush, Colston, and Shockey were banged up and missed significant time.

Deuce was washed up

Billy Miller

Like I said, 5k without a single 1k yard receiver

Call me crazy but I think Snead has twice as good a year as Billy Miller did in 08
