just lazy journalism...Kiper is the most overblown thing at ESPN. The guy's big board is usually nowhere near what actually goes down. Sure he knows a ton of college players but I think he absolutely sucks at truly knowing team needs.

I'll never not cheer for the Saints.

I would hate the pick though. Hate It! HATE IT! HATE IT!

I cheered for them after they selected Johnathon Sullivan so I'll cheer for them if they draft this fake girlfriend lover.

The assumption that Vilma sees more than 50% of the defensive snaps next year is laughable. He hasn't been in "play 100% of the game, starter condition" since his injury in 2010.

Kiper actually had us taking Akiem Hicks in his final mock last year.

but this is retarded.

would rather Ogletree or Minter IF we actually took a LB.

but the Saints don't do that. Mark Fields was the last LB taken in the first round by the Saints.

that was 1995.

Kiper's issue is he typically just thinks teams pick for need. He hasn't been right as it pertains to the saints since stallworth
This year he projects us to go BPA and at teo being the BPA. This year we buck the trend and fill a need, if it's mingo or jones, it's also the BPA

I don't want the guy, but drafting him would never cause me to stop pulling for NO. true fans stick with the team in thick and thin, and we have seen some thin times before.

the only way I would not pull for the Saints is if the Team left NO for somewhere else.

No. I'd go out and buy a Roddy White jersey as soon as the pick was in.

T'eo doesn't fit Need or BPA.

I'll agree MLB can be upgrated, but it's not the most pressing issue we have. I'd rank it behind NT/OLB/LT/WR/S...then MLB

that is one of the reasons I'm worried about this position. I'm looking forward to seeing what Hawthorne can do this year. I've seen some say how he wasn't a fit for Spags scheme last year. But my question to that is, why in the hell would you bring him in if that was the case?

Hawthorne got hurt last year too though. I don't doubt he can be a good player but seeing how both he and Vilma missed a hand full of games last year isn't very assuring.

Im gonna go out on a limb here and say the probability of the Saints drafting Manti Te'o at 15 is far less than the probability of Manti Te'o not getting drafted on Thursday.

Strangest/funniest part of that is when Kiper says

"You pass up a franchise QB like Trent Dilfer when all you have is JIM HARBAUGH i mean come on!!"

Just sounds crazy on so many levels

If you give up cheering for the Saints, after an admittedly stupid fricking pick, you don't deserve to be part of the Who Dat Nation.

No, unless we get him in a really really late round 6-7
