Why wouldn't the Titans give us their 5th pick for Cooks?

Titans need a WR BAD! They won;'t find a WR as good as Cooks in this draft and he's only 23.So why not just give us the 5th pick?

Because he isn't worth the 5th pick.

Your logic isn't bad, but draft picks are overvalued and Cooks will be expensive af when he reups.

Because he's not an elite/top 5 WR. I'll take their 18th pick while we keep our 11th.

He's not worth the 5th pick. The league knows he's a product of Drew's awesomeness

He's better than every WR in this years draft class

You would have said that with last year's draft class too. Now everyone thinks Thomas is the best WR on the roster.

I beg to differ
2016- 5th round pick Jalen Ramsey...
2015 - Sammy Watkins was #4
2013- Ezekiel Ansah went 5th with Tavon Austin at #8
2012- Justin Blackmon 5th / Trent Richardson 3rd

....all i'm saying is you never know what you're getting in the draft. Cooks is a proven, know what you're getting commodity at worst. At best he develops into Antonio Brown. It could even turn out whomever we pick at #5 if given the pick never pans out. Will someone give it to us i'm not sure, but its not far fetched.

No they will not and yes it is far fetched in reality. Technically it makes sense, it just never happens.

Don't comment on shite you have no insight regarding. He's more productive than brown was when he came into the league his first 3 season and is a good bit faster.

I would hope they would, though it would be stupid on their part. Cooks wouldn't be worth that high of a pick.

He is it is a fact. Both are very good but Thomas has a higher upside.

So was Willie Snead. Cooks finds the sideline or the ground when contact is coming. He ain't got the dog in him to ever be Antonio Brown.

Antonio Brown had less broken tackles and yac than cooks early on.

But don't let facts skew that.

either way I beleive the staff sees his practice play is not equal to his game day play. He looks exception without the full pads but rather ordinary vs primetime action.
