There were times that MT running a slant seemed to be damn near unstoppable.

It was, until that fricking underthrown/slipped one to ice the game in the NFC championship

MT doesn’t get the YAC that Colston got. He is brought down too easily

Because Drew was in his prime! Look what Brady did for Moss when he went to New England. Hall of Fame QBs make even the best look better.

Looked at numbers again. In my mind, when someone says Best i want the top tiered talent. You add in a little bit of tenure at the team so its just not a one off but its not a career award so to speak. It's best. So i'm looking at each of the players top 5 years and adding stats up.

Colston: 5,611 yds 56 tds
Horn: 6,289 yds 45 tds
Thomas: 5,951 yds 33 tds (his 5th year is this year thus his numbers will keep climbing and likely over take horn yds)

Decide what you want with these numbers.

Him and drew mastered the back shoulder throw too, their timing was 2nd to none on a seam route and a back shoulder pass.

Colston scored 72 TD’s during his career compared to 35 for Michael Thomas. That’s more than 100% more for Colston. This was despite having less than 50% more catches (720) than Thomas (526).

Colston hand incredible size for the position, and maybe the most accurate and quick trigger QB if all time for his entire career.

Between Colston’s length and Drew’s arm, any separation was magnified.

A real joy to watch.
