Well they certainly don't indicate incompetence considering there are 12 league-starting QBs with inferior passer ratings to his and he has a 16-4 TD/INT ratio: he doesn't throw stupid interceptions and can move the chains on the ground as well, he'll be a benefit to any team that claims him if their system is suitable to his style of play

Also, in 2016, Kap was 6th among all QBs in pass int % and 2nd all-time among every QB ever-Tom Brady shares that all-time ranking with Kap, thought I'd apprise you of that

On here, you're fighting an uphill battle, man as you know by now. I agree with you Colin Kaepernick is a great talent and if and it's a big IF right now in the NFL, if some team signs him and gives him a second shot they get a capable backup. But they're a lot of people in this country that don't really understand his plight and think that he's just attacking America just to be attacking America because he's a Muslim. Of course that is not the case, but all they see is his not standing for the national anthem as an affront on everything they believe in when he's just trying to bring attention to the fact that this is a very hypocritical and racist country in how they persecute, the police that is and others(people) persecute certain minority groups. It's controversial his stance and right now NFL teams are running from him like he's got a disease, they don't want the attention.

If you dislike the guy because of what he stands for our his beliefs this thread isn't for you.

Nice intro.

quote:

The NFL has basically told him yeaH we'll sign dope head, women beaters, manslaughter convictions,

Ray Rice= unemployed
Greg Hardy=unemployed
that former Giants kicker= unemployed

Josh Gordon= unemployed :/
Martavis Bryant= suspended last year.
Justin Blackmon= shown no mercy. Hey you wanna drink.. okay well then.. bye bye.

quote:

That and the fact that the guy knew he'd have a tough time getting work after stepping out on a limb (opted out of his contract) shows me the balls he's carrying and I admire it because I don't think I would have done the same.

I wasn't impressed at all. He says what he feels.. he shouldn't get a pat on the back for that.

C'mon.

I don't agree with his views nor have I walked a mile in his shoes. But his stances don't effect mine.

I've seen a bunch of people throughout my life not salute or stand during the anthem. It struck a nerve with me at times but again.. I don't know what they were thinking or what they've been through.

you also see a bunch of videos floating around the internet of people being bullied or beaten up. Instead of someone trying to break up the fight there are more people trying to make a video to store in their phones.

the world is a better yet stranger place these days at the same time. People can have their voice heard instantly because of social media but social media also exposes some sad shite as well.

Kap can talk all he wants but I'm not gonna buy everything he says.

quote:

He gives you the ability to extend plays and has a big arm with enough experience to step in for Drew when he hangs it up in a year or two and not look like a deer in headlights. He's not a star just a quality player that would benefit us IMO.

once Brees is gone.. yeah sure why not??? But no matter who does they'll get the same label as the Billy Joe Tolliver's and Wade Wilson's of the world.

you're talking about replacing a Hall of Fame player.

shite.. that's gonna be rough

I am not really jumping in on this argument but what team is suitable for his style of play?

Also, maybe the guy seriously does NOT want to play anymore. He kinda seems like he has his money saved up and is just doing this for a political movement. Which is fine. Just wondering when he visits teams if he comes off kind of aloof. Just speculation and would like to hear anyone's thoughts on that.

He's 50% white. So half of him oppresses the other half every day. No wonder he's f@cked in the head.
