Why do we waste picks & money on defense every year?

Every year we spend resources to make our defense better and every year is just as shitty as it was the year before.
Just load up on offense and hope you can outscore your opponent.

We sign all the defensive players their former teams don't want any more.

It starts at the coaching level and we have a coach who is clueless im defense and undisciplined in general

We keep spending resources on the secondary when we don't have any pass rushers outside of Jordan. There is a reason we can't get off the field on 3rd and long.

We should have traded Payton per those rumors while he demanded some value. No one would want him as HC now
