Please be clear with me then on which opponents exactly were "carted off" during this time period because I can't think of any. Thanks

Where in that bold statement does it say they had a bounty program, knew about the bounty program, took part of a bounty program, or initiated it. They are saying they take the blame for what the NFL said they found. It happened under their watch and they should of caught it.

who said "bounty program"? If the NFL, then they admitted [to the NFL's findings]

Payton probably didn't know what Gregg had going on and took responsibility for it because it happened under his watch. And he probably didn't know what the NFL had as evidence because he probably wasn't that involved with the defence. Pay for performance is also against the rules.

Vitt who is interim coach right now has come out and said over and over that there was no pay for injury or bounty program. He has said it publicly at least 3-4 seperate times or more. He is responsible for the team right now. Why would he say that if it wasn't true? Payton and Williams are suspended right now. If they talk, I'm sure they can get in more trouble. They do not have any protection. They are at the mercy of Goodell. Why can't you understand that?

Thus, players received extra pay for big hits which resulted in injuries to opposing players. I can't make it any clearer than this.

In other words you CAN'T put together what you claimed. The NFL said the Saints are guilty of intent to injure. You said the NFL is correct in what they alleged. I continue to ask connect the dots for me. Show me intent.

Really strange that I've asked the "They're Guilty!" crowd this question 100 times and have never gotten an answer. So, there was this diabolical highly developed program to pay for "cart offs" but, yet, no one ever got "carted off"??

You know the three in Buffalo...oh wait, that was Carolina...oh wait, the only injury that game was to a defensive player. The NFL's case is full of...oh wait's.

Linked in another thread, but i thought it fit here as well..

link

quote:

Vitt confirmed that he told league investigators that the Saints used terms like "cart-offs" and "whacks" (a legal hit that didn't result in injury), among other such details. Vitt, however, said he did not corroborate any of the league's more sweeping claims that the team had a "bounty" system in place.

quote:

Vitt again stressed that he had never heard the word "bounty" until the NFL's investigators brought up the term earlier this year. And he denied the existence of any bounties or any bounty program being in place. Vitt admitted that a pay-for-performance program was in place but said the league never asked about a pay-for-performance program - which means he wasn't intentionally lying when he denied the existence of a "bounty" program.

quote:

When asked why he and other suspended members of the Saints' management and coaching staff didn't put up much of a public fight when they were punished earlier this year, Vitt again said he didn't want to comment since the players' appeals process is still ongoing, but he said he would comment in the future. And he said part of the reason is that the coaches don't have the same kind of appeals process available to them that players have - and certainly not that most average people have available.

Don't forget the supposed $200 for "whacks" to Dunbar and Harper in the playoff game against the Lions. Did anyone ever figure out what those "whacks" were??

"INtent" to injure. Remember the Saints were not a good defensive team.

Have you been living under a rock? The NFL said the saints had a bounty. Their so called evidence they submitted included a note that had Vitt's name with $5,000 beside it. Vitt called them out on it saying it is bullshite. NFL said uhhhhh we never said Vitt put up money for a bounty. Just ignore his name but everyone else on that note definately, maybe, kinda, sorta put up money Evidence is bullshite.

"bounty"--where? ANd if you provide a link, they CSP and ML admitted to it, if "bounty" was included in the allegations.

How about you provide a link quoting anyone saying they had a bounty program. Not the bullshite media spins you have been linking. Something from SP or Vitt saying they had bounties.
