LSU fans are the best though...
Les was a smashing success compared to the field of other coaches in the NCAA.
I'll be chastised for saying this, but LSU fans need to realize that they're not superior to the SEC, much less the nation. If your "down year" consist of a bowl bid and 4 losses, you're expecting too much. That's a solid season by any account.
I bet there are LSU fans on this very board that think they can beat the likes of TCU, FSU, Baylor, etc..

Wasn't FSU not need a late FG to beat UF at home?
FSU has had close games against Virginia, Miami, Boston College, UF, ND, Clemson, and Okie State. They'd be favored, but we'd have a chance
Baylor lost to West Virginia and struggled with Texas Tech.
