Third game this year a JP deputy has blocked an exit from the larger of the free lots and caused massive delays. There has never been anyone ever in that spot except night games in years prior and it's always a JP. I think this decision to place a cop there has caused undue traffic and headaches for people. You are paying a cop detail overtime to sit in a car and block an exit to the interstate on ramp, when he should be out of the car and directing traffic across poydras like the NOPD officer that used to always be in that spot has done.

It is mind blowing that someone thinks it's a good idea to block that exit.

Poydras at Bolivar. The free parking area on the dome side of the train tracks. The exit to the interstate has been blocked the last two games by a JP deputy.

My opinion is that they get a JP deputy and he is lazy and decides to sit in his car and block the crossing rather than direct traffic like the NOPD officers do when they are in that spot.

Leaving via Earhart was a mess yesterday. Someone in their infinite wisdom thought it made sense to block Earhart at Washington to hold a neighborhood type of parade with many people marching in the streets. What a traffic nightmare that caused.

is that the exit to get on I-10 west right by bertrand street? That would suck. Ive never seen anyone blocking that exit, although I havent been to a game yet this year.

After this thread, I was contacted on my TD email and gave some info to the person who contacted me who assured me there would be no deputy blicking that spot. Low and behold on the game Sunday the exit was open. The power of TD>
