Interceptions are up.

Many of those were due to players filling for injuries that weren't up to snuff yet. (LaDell turning the wrong way vs. Cleveland) Not to mention many of the int's were deflections - luck of the bounce.

jm3 lists some impressive stats thus far.

I'm still waiting to hear a decent reason why Drew wouldn't be a top 3 right now???

Just 3 other guys playing better than him right now.

No one is playing better than Brady right now 27 TDs 4 INTs. Vick's yardage total is low, but rating is 2nd highest and is still the best running threat in the league.

As for #3 I can see the argument for Brees over Rivers, Rodgers, or Big Rapekit, but I don't think it deserves a to put one of those guys ahead of Brees.

IMO it's 1) Brady 2) Vick 3) one of 2-4 guys but doesn't really matter cause it's just a matter of degrees seperating them

the thing is, brady and vick should probably be 1 and 2 without question.

then, have you even looked at rodgers, rivers, or cassel's numbers?

i'm ok (kinda) with saying that rivers is out because his team is 6-6. but cassel and rodgers both have their teams one win behind the saints. and if you're valuing wins THAT much, then frick it, Matt Ryan is the 2nd best QB in the league.

and to think that brees has had unlucky interceptions and other QBs haven't is absolutely idiotic.

fact of the matter is simply that brees is a marginal top 5 QB right now.

This Season

Gotta have 4, lol.

In no particular order:

Brady
Vick
Rivers

I don't see how any other QB can top those based on this season's production.

Can you tell me why you would put Brees over Brady, considering Brady has like 27 TDs and 4 INTs this season?

2 more TD passes on 100 LESS attempts. MUCH higher QB rating, higher YPA. +23 TD:INT ratio to Brees's +9.

What exactly is your argument for Brees over Brady?

I'd love to hear this.

End of the 4th quarter with the game on the line and you need 1 td. Who do you want?

Brees
Brady
Manning

In no particular order. I dont care how many int's Brees and Manning have. They are winners and they finish.

Brady and Brees didn't get excuses for when they only had no names to catch their passes.

Everyone acts like Brady and Brees have had Harrison and Wayne catching their passes their whole career. I don't get it.

Nobody's got a bigger mancrush on Breesus than yours truly. For me to honestly make a list of this year's top 3 QBs so far, as much as it hurts me I have to leave him off.

The list is:

1. Brady
2. Vick
3. Rivers

Now if you ask me who I want most as my QB for the next game or the week after, it's Brees.

Matt Ryan?

Cassell?

Clearly, this year it is Brady then Vick (I give the advantage to Brady because he hasn'e missed any games. When he is in there he is as good as Brady.)

Then Rodgers, Rivers, Brees, Manning, Orton, Roethlisburger, Ryan, Manning, etc.... in this approximate order...
