It's just a good time to hang with friends and family. Nothing more than that.

This thread sounds like some BS.

Do y'all watch other games or only the Saints?

Let's say the Lions were in the Super Bowl vs. KC instead.

Then I'd watch with way more interest and would want the Lions to win.

Admittedly I watch other NFL games for betting or daily fantasy football purposes more these days.

I did player props for today's game but even scaled down the number of bets compared to what I did last year. I went back to playing daily fantasy on DraftKings mostly.

Why bc they are a so called feel good story? The lions were lucky this year to benefit from an easy schedule (only quality win was KC) and cousins getting hurt plus love starting off slow. They beat Tampa oooh. And split with GB. Only other decent teams they beat based on playoffs. Hell last year they were getting ready to fire Campbell. They will be average at best next season.

SF vs KC is a legit game for reasons I already posted. This game will be a doozy.

This is one of these "I'm smarter than you" threads. We see them all the time. It's just like the threads about people supposedly dropping their season tickets after such-and-such number of years. That's on them but why tell everyone here? To proclaim how much smarter they are than the dummys who keep them.

Same thing here. Hundreds of millions of people will watch the Super Bowl, so someone comes here and proclaims from on high "I'm not watching. That makes me smart. You're stupid and a sheep for watching."

If you want to watch, watch. If you'd rather watch reruns of MASH, do that. Your choice of TV tonight doesn't make you any more or less of a person.

I hate the TS love just like everyone else but is it her fault? I blame the NFL and the networks.

Well when I started this thread, that was not my intention. I didn't ask anybody was going to watch or not. I didn't care about the ratings after this game. All I ask was who does not care about the Super Bowl?

This being a Saints threat, I figured there would be a lot of Saints fans who still didn't like the 49ers and some who are getting sick of the Chiefs . The Swift/Kelce thing being one of them.

I was curious who else felt the same way. I'll probably tune in a little, but can't get too excited because I don't like either team. A rerun of MASH does sound appealing.

Now from your response to this thread, I'm getting the "I'm smarter than you" vibe from you. Essentially pointing out something because you perceive that.

Ironic isn't it?

Didn’t realize it was a season long thing. That is definitely a jealous bitch move.

I’d have preferred the Lions to be in, but can’t lie either, seeing CMC win a championship after the MVP snub would be nice. Or it goes to a modern dynasty with one of the best QBs ever. History made either way, so I’m content.

Same here, I’ll watch it because it’s the Super Bowl but I don’t particularly care for either team. In fact I’d say this whole season was pretty meh except for maybe the Lions run

Sick and tired of Chiefs, Kelce/Swift BS. A little tired of Mahomes as well.
