Most receivers have to start chopping, slow down a bit before they make their cut. From what I've heard coming out of OTA's, Cooks doesn't slow down at all on his cuts. You realize how big of a weapon that is? You already have the advantage as a receiver of knowing where the route is going to go. Now you have the advantage of making your cut that much faster. If Cooks is able to get the corners hips turn, they're done.

Another thing I noticed from some of his game footage is Cooks has a slight hesitation coming off of the line too. When he gets that he'll be closing his routes almost a second faster. Frightening.

That'll come in handy with Brees' quick release.

I'm sick and tired of people calling Cooks the "quick" guy in th context that he doesn't have the top end speed.

The dude ran a 4.33 forty. That is moronically fast. Combine it with his absurd shuttle splits and he will be almost unarguably the fastest player anytime he's on the field.

The dude can fly.

You get a name change or are you just being blatant?

When you combine it all on turf he'll be even that much faster/quicker. Falcons aren't going to know what hit them in the first game this season.

Meach was straight line fast but suffered from being terrible in the open field with the ball in his hands. Unless he was running straight to the end zone which happened pretty frequently is his prime.

I really can't comprehend this, unless Archer is part gazelle.

Bush and Cooks ran 4.33 in their 40 yard dash

I believe Sproles ran a 4.47
