so a good DE who got fat, a turrible CB, and one of the biggest busts in team history.

We had to give them the wedding dress, also.

Well, we ended up eventually gettting Duce
Duce got old and we realized we needed to take a chance on taking an elite QB, so we got Brees
Brees won us a superbowl
In the long run...PROFIT!

did charles grant care about food more than money? during 09 somebody told me he kept a bag of snacks on the sidelines in case of emergency hunger

grant was a good player for us. probably one of our better draft picks ever.

He was a good player for a while. He just didn't have one of the more likeable personalities. I remember during contract negotiations one year he complained about being put on the franchise tag because he wouldn't be able to feed his family. The way he ended up eating, he may have been right.

I'll never forget a phone interview that the Late, Great Mush Mouth Buddy D did with him on WWL Radio.
It sounded like he was gnawing on a chicken bone the entire time. You could tell he was eating something. Smacking his lips and talking with a mouthful of food. Couldn't understand a word he was saying.
Between him and Buddy, WWL would have done better just going silent for 10 minutes.
