This is about forecasting this coming year only, who's our best most talented players now. Not long term talent but talent production now.

I think these names are pretty inarguably safe in top 10:
1. Drew Brees
2. Cam Jordan
3. Michael Thomas
4. Kenny Vaccaro
5. Terron Armstead

Tough to round out last 5, i'll throw out:
6. Max Unger
7. PJ Williams
8. Mark Ingram
9. Zach Strief
10. Sheldon Rankins

Definitely.

Armstead and Unger are question marks because of health. If we have both for a majority of the season, then your ranking is solid. I don't think that Armstead will be available as much as we would like so I take him out of the top 10.

5. Unger
6. Ingram
7. Warford (he will surprise people this year)
8. Rankins
9. Snead- No Cooks=Big numbers for Snead
10. Peat- We haven't heard anything about him in camp except yesterday Bobby said he is looking like a 1st rounder. Our line is best when we are strong inside out. The few pictures that I have seen of him is that he looks like he is in the best shape of his life.

big PJ fan here. its hard to say at this very point who's our No. 1 CB, Breaux Crawley PJ and Lattimore are all freaking ballers. I felt like i had to roll with one of those CB's for being a top 10 talent on the team. I'm fine with any substitution of name there.

You really can't put a guy who has rarely ever played for us in the top 10.

You can call it more of a leap of faith, sure. But i think PJ is a baller, he was flashing it last year early. He's been a rock solid training camp stud along with Crawley.

Chad is pulling out all the stops to avoid including Morstead.

Fairley would have been top 10 - Breaux is if he's 2015 form.

Won't be surprised if any of Rankins, Williams, Kamara, Onyemata, Klein crack this list by mid-season
