Zach Strief, Charles Brown & Brian De La Puente will be FA's in 2014.

Didn't realize this. In that case, I'd go OT then C in rounds 1 and 2 and OLB in 3

I would go OT in the 1st but if D' Anthony Thomas falls us in the 2nd I would take him. We have to release Sproles is 30 and will be a FA in 2015. To be honest all of our RB will be FA's in 2015. I smell trade on draft day.

D'Anthony Thomas is a faster Darren Sproles

I doubt D'Anthony Thomas or Lache Seastruck fall to is in the 2nd. But if love to get either of those guys on draft day.

There are some good centers to be had in the 3-5th round this year too.

We need another CB too. I'd say CB, RB & OT should be draft priorities with a Center taken in the mid rounds.

Been saying for awhile now I would love D. Thomas in this offense. Next year he could come in on certain packages, but could instantly take over return duties and be electric

I think Center is the position of greatest need, however I suspect that you can get better value for a second round center and first round guard than vice versa. Might be wrong, don't really follow drafts too carefully outside of what the Saints do.

Here are some mid and late round centers who can likely come in and do a good job.

Gabe Ikard, OU
Bryan Stork, FSU
Weston Richburg, Colorado State
James Stone, Tenn
Tyler Larsen, Utah State
Andrew Miller, Virginia Tech
Dakota Dozier, Furman

Unless you are the Cowboys, Centers rarely get drafted in the first or even second round.

I'm curious as to why everyone wants to draft an OLB? We have Galette, Haralson, and Butlers coming back. I mean unless someone falls who you just can't pass up, I think that could just be a later round pickup. Don't we still have Rufus on the PS too? Not to mention we just released Wilson...so I just don't get the feeling we're hurting there.

Honestly, I don't see the need to to make absolutely any D-line picks in the first top half of the draft.

Furthermore, the first three rounds all really need to be O-line and a wideout and/or offensive weapon.

can't get very specific on positional need until after free agency. Huge questions to be resolved. Is Charles Brown good enough? Can you find a contract that works for both him and the team? I tend to think Streif will be back affordably. Or is Armstead THE guy and ready to move up? Hell, Bryce Harris hasn't looked bad. That's just at OT.

At this point I like the idea of a grade A center who could come in and start on day one and be there through a rookie contract or beyond.

B/C we need some stud OLBs to help stop these off tackle runs that are killing us.

You know what stops off tackle runs even better?

Actually scoring when you are on offense.

That, and running the ball. That way the other team's O stays off the field.

Probably. But he probably won't make it to our pick. I think he goes high to mid second round.

This is all baring a combine explosion and injury and bad stories about him coming out and things like that.
