Let me preface my respons by saying I'm not a Saints fan. I'm a Falcons fan. So yeah, I expect the saints fans to cheer against the Falcons harder than they've ever cheered in their lives (other than when the saints were in the SB). That's exactly what I did in 2010 and I wouldn't want it any other way from Saints fans.

What? There has only been one repeat Super Bowl winner in the last 10 years and thats the Giants
I'm sure he means the same teams always in the final four (Pats, Steelers, Packers, Seahawks, etc.) over the last decade.
Honestly, I don't care if Matt Ryan and the Falcons win this year. My hate for them pales in comparison to the hate I had towards Cam Newton last year. Ryan is a poster boy compared to that brat.

I've lived in ATL since 2000 and love the city. While I pull for the Saints against the Falcons, I'm not one of those Falcons haters and I am enjoying the ride.

I don't want Atlanta to win. But if they do they will have earned it.
And in the end, who cares? It's a game.

honestly stopped caring about the season all together after our loss to Carolina on the Thursday night game.

Everybody has to win one at some point.

true.. but I've finally reached the level that if the Saints are out.. I'm out.
I'd never thought I'd see the day but its either the Saints or fantasy football that keeps me interested. That's where I'm at.
the way the game is now.. I don't feel like I have a choice.
I sincerely don't have a rooting interest in this game coming up. I can't play daily fantasy cause its down to just one game and season long leagues have been over.
I watched probably a total of 2 quarters of last years Super Bowl. It fell on the same day where its the best day for Mardi Gras where i live IMO. So I casually watched at a bar but just wasn't all that interested in who was winning. Plus there wasn't much doubt/suspense.. Denver never trailed that game if I remember right. Each time I looked up their D was causing problems. About what I expected.

That's where I am too. After 2011 I haven't really cared as much since.
I don't want certain teams to win, but if they do it's whatever, congrats to them.

I've followed the Saints/NFL since 1989 (earliest I can remember). That also happened to be my first year playing little league football too.
I think it was honestly bounty gate fall out that started to crush my spirit. There.. I said it
but for real.. that was a big part of it.
even in 2013 ( a year we did well) there was something missing. I will say I followed the NFL a lot more that year but I guess its just hard for me to have the passion for the game as I did when I was just a kid.
the game is WAY different than what I'm used to.. as I'm sure it is for you too.
