Undrafted S who has always been a couple of inches shorter than people would like but started all 4 years at OM.

What are the chances he makes the team as dime back and ST player?

I like Elston because he's a mean arse hard nosed player. Would love to see him gain weight and become one of those agile Linebackers like Baron, and Bucannon

Appreciate the update guys. He was a fan favorite at OM. He has been overlooked because of his size his entire career. I hope he hangs around long enough to get a chance to earn a spot. He is a gamer.

Given that we have Vaccaro, Harper, Byrd, and Bell he chances aren't great. We'll keep either 4 or 5 safeties and if only 4 he has no shot, and if 5 he has to bust arse on special teams.

Not to mention Harris as well, who has been getting extensive looks and praise the offseason. If you also group in the DBs as whole and consider the current CB competition, I'd say Elston has a very, very long shot.

Yeah I agree with that. Special teams will still be the deciding factor though.

Probably out on a numbers games at S but depending on how much promise he shows he could make the IR hide away team.
