We've tried to stock pile picks and talent through trades but we suck at drafting.

Stills trade - sucked
Graham trade - got Unger terrible draft pick in Anthony
Cooks trade - yet to be seen but our draft evaluation is suspect. We could've gotten a solid OL in the 3rd round. It was deep.
We trade up to get Kamara in an already crowded backfield.

How is any of this worth a shite? Are other teams this dumb?

Ram has played 2 NFL Games. We was ok on Sunday. Karmara is playing too much right now.

Pretty sobering tweet

I don't think Ram is bad. I just think there was value in this draft at OL and we used a pick there that could've addressed other holes. Kamara is a good player but was it worth traded up?

It probably wouldn't have mattered because we suck at drafting.

to be fair the 2012 draft was crippled to start with. 2013 is about to look bad too, the 2013-2014 drafts are the huge facepalms.

2013: Vaccaro - never improved; Armstead - elite but cannot stay healthy; Jenkins - fat arse useless after rookie year; Stills - traded for 3rd and Ellerbe; johnson - nothing.
- so really vaccaro and armstead to show for it, both have issues

The Saints did receive value at the time of some of the trades.
Stills Trade Saints received value in that trade you traded a 5th round pick and received a 3rd round selection for him that is value. He's not setting the world on fire in Miami either.

Jimmy Graham was a 3rd round draft pick that was Traded for an All Pro Center and a 1st round draft pick and he has done nothing in comparison since his departure,so to say the Saints didn't get value in those 2 Trades is not true.

Now in the Brandon Cooks Trade they got the shaft in Value. The Patriots have a Good front office

Today the Saints got shafted again in the Stephone Anthony Trade, that kid will be a great player for the Dolphins..
All in all the Saints got value for the first 2 trades but in the end they did not use the value they received right is what your saying..Stephone Anthony I believe will make the Saints coaching staff look silly again on there choice to trade him..

As much as I like Kamara's talent, I would rather have traded up a few spots in the 1st to get Watt. I kept saying it on draft night, the guy is already making a difference in Pittsburgh.

This means nothing to me without comparing to other teams.

You missed underwood my post. The trades have been good from a value standpoint. We just blow the fricking picks. That's why the title is "we've tried to do the right things".
