I also like the part about falcons management thinking of ways to get falcon fans to show up with pregame concession discounts. LULz

This year - there will be coaching on the overheads telling the fans when to yell and when to shush - and encouragement in "other" ways!

Those shitty arse fans dont deserve a superbowl. The whole city is bandwagon fans. Promotions to get people into the games?

The Falcons fans are actually thinking they will get to the Super Bowl this year. A dumbass like Mike Smith will never get them there.

When we played them in ATL last year Brees was talking about how there were more Saints fans there than Falcons fans.

Payton is 7-1 vs. the Falcons, at this point the Falcons have the Saints in their heads...

He lives in the same subdivision as I do here in GA. I will be sure to sport my Saints flag in my front yard "to say in his head".

Doesn't every stadium on Earth have screens that say "Make Noise" or "Get Loud" on them when appropriate? How retarded are these people? Acting excited over something that has been used for like the past 30+ years....

Atlanta is seriously the worst sports town in America. You can't even call them fair-weather fans b/c at least fair-weather fans show up whenever the team is good.

I remember in the '90s during the Braves' great run they couldn't even sell out their playoff games.

I have ~20 people in my office here in Atlanta (actually Roswell) and there are no Dirty bird fans. We have 3 saints fans ( including me) 1 eagles fan a coboys fan and the rest just don't give a shite.

Yeah, but the PA guys in the stadiums and arenas here LEAD CHEERS. That's the epitome of lame.

Great point. Granted, it seems that 60% or more Atlanta area residents aren't from here, so they bring their allegiences with them. Just in the few people who are on my team or have a desk near mine, I have two Dolphins fans, a Giants fan, a Falcons fan, Me, a Bears fan, two Bucs fans, a Cowboys fan, a Seahawks fan, and one I don't know yet. That is, among the people who watch sports right there. Most of us are not originally from the area.

If we're in his head already imagine when we play them. Wait, we know what happens when we play them...

I'm pretty sure that I've read that, of all major U.S. cities, Atlanta has the highest percentage of people who were not born in the area.

On the other hand, New Orleans has the country's highest % of people who were born in the city (at least before Katrina -- don't know for sure now).
