We should make some calls around the league, see who's up for trade.

Much like when Randy Moss was sent to New England for a 4th round pick or more recently like Brandon Marshall to the Jets for a 4th rounder. We should call up teams and see what we can get for a mid rounder.

Sorry, just bored looking to open up discussion about the Saints

If we could get him for a 5th or 6th, perhaps. We don't need much WR help though. Willie Snead and Brandin Cooks got this.

O-line and D-line are higher priorities.

I am not a Josh Gordon fan by any means but if Cleveland would be willing to part with him for a 4th...I would pull that trigger in a heartbeat. The chances of nailing your 4th round pick and it amounting to anything near what Gordon was is incredibly improbable. Gordon paired with Brian Hoyer was a top 10 WR...with Drew and Sean

For the team that got a 4th round pick in exchange for a "difference maker" who has never played in a playoff game ever.

Still probably more useful than a 4th rounder.

Meh if I was gonna take a chance on someone, it'd be Dion Jordan. Played 34 OLB at Oregon and Miami is shell shocked when he doesn't work out as a bookend in a 43. The guy is 240 lbs soaking wet.

You might be missing part of the equation.

With the way the Saints have been drafting recently they should trade all of their picks for players.

I'd stay far far away from that guy. If there are questions about if you want to play the game then forget that.

Dion Jordan

No I get that part of the equation. I was saying the risk/reward of your potential return on investment more than justifies parting with the pick to acquire the player. If he was playing right now and if Cleveland knew he was still a top 10 WR they would never part with him at that price. It would be a gamble however one that your not too invested in as a franchise for what you gave up to acquire him.

Some other notable WR's who never should have been parted with for a 4th have already been covered and let's not forget that was also the same price we paid to acquire Vilma...these things happen all the time. We just need to know if the franchise has given up on the player in question or if they are more intrigued by youth and rookie contracts(rebuild).

Cooks is legit, Snead is a product of the system/playing with one of the best QB's of all time. We need talent at the position, it's just we have more glaring needs on defense because Drew can make up for the lack of talent around him.

We need pass rushers more than anything. Cam is one of the best all around D-Ends in the league, if we could just pair him with a guy who could pressure from the outside and a tackle who could eat blockers, we will win 10 games next year.
