I can't believe they just did that, you gave up a great offensive asset for a pick and moving up a round in the draft. There was a better deal than that........ Unbelievable

Yes, how dare a top 5 offense year in and year out regardless of personnel give up a bitch arse diva who wants to leave for two picks. Oh my, we gave up a 4th, ohhhhh no how will we ever recover???

Just when we think the cards are in our hands Loomis screws it up as usual.

Now Cooks is laughing his way to a perennial playoff contender under the GOAT and his former team that bumped him gets laughed at for taking scraps.

They waited too long to make a deal and should have just held on to him.

The problem with you all is you all treat Cooks like he was Odell Beckham when the front office prob just saw him as another Stills. If Cooks was a 2nd round pick, you'd all be celebrating this but because he was taken in the 1st, it's rioting. We got our 1st round pick and moved up into the 3rd while the Pats get a speedster who now gets to sit behind Gronkowski and Edelman, hope he has fun trying to get the spotlight in New England.

You are an idiot, the point is that we gave up a proven productive player for an unproven draft pick. I would have preferred deal him for another player of equal value on the defensive side of the ball. No way Cooks is even a to 10 receiver imo

The FO continues to sell itself short. I thought they were pursuing a mid-round pick? This just makes them look dumb.

Should have kept him or held out for a team that fell short getting a speedy WR in free agency or the draft.

Just sick of seeing the FO say one thing then settle for far less.

WRs usually break out in their 3rd year. 2017 is Cooks 3rd year. BB knows this. If you don't get a mid-1st or a late 1st and a 2nd, then you keep him.
Will the Saints 1st and 3rd be better than Cooks and the 4th round pick they could have selected?
I like T. Ginn, but Cooks catches passes much better. Put Cooks, Ginn, Snead, and Thomas in a 4 WR set, and see what happens. I prefer that scenario over this trade.

If Cooks was becoming a diva, you can't really say it was a bad deal. It was good for the Pats for sure, but Saints are set at receiver.

We definitely got trade fricked. Pick Anthony again. What great value and a waste of a fricking pick.

What was the deal?

I mean you must have some first hand inside info, right?

So, what was it?

It's pretty obvious that those deals were nothing more than rumors

The only thing making that trade respectable is that they got Unger. That 32nd pick will no doubt be another busted pick. If you look at the Saints draft history from 2006-2016, the amount of busted picked is astonishing. Can't draft worth a shite.
