Well, an no offense to Peterson, not having an openly disgruntled player in the locker room and on the sidelines helps too.

It was a stupid personnel move from the get-go.
Payton’s system does not function well with a needy 20+ carry workhorse type back.
FWIW, Fournette would have been a bad selection for the Saints, too. A versatile Dalvin Cook or Kamara were better fits.
