Yeah, most people only remember the power back later in his career with the Saints and forget that he played some receiver and returned kicks and punts for ole miss.

One of my favorites!

Donte Stallworth, though not in the Brees era, was the fastest.

Great way to toss around false information. I said if we draft Treadwell we will have 2 young stars in Snead and Treadwell.

Cooks in straight line speed.

He certainly has that

His vision after catching the ball could use some work I guess. His vision against zones is not an issue at all. He's pretty good at sitting in them, so is Snead

He has not issues cutting or changing directions. His acceleration is off the charts and his route running has become better and better every week, largely due to his ability to come in and out of breaks.

I thought Stills would have been faster. He was a big play guy in his last year here. Definitely could've used him this year (though not as badly as we needed an entire defense)

He ran a 4.38 at the combine, so he could fly.

That was the trade I didn't like, but there were rumors of locker room and off the field stuff

He was fast to be sure, but I thought relative to the other guys on the list that he was faster. Spiller and Meachem seemed slower than Stills as I remember but that's not necessarily the case...

To add to that, I never thought Deuce was running a 4.41 in the combine.

Cooks cannot break a tackle in the NFL. That's the only thing he needs to work on.

Cooks's shuttle times are ridiculous. NFL records for times dating back to '06 (for as long as the combine database has been kept). So it is false to assume he is slow through his cuts, and only a straight line guy.

This is true, which makes it even more baffling that he has hardly any yards after the catch from short and intermediate passes. He's lightning fast and quick, but somehow not elusive. Weird.

See my post about him not being able to break a tackle

Something seems a bit off with these numbers bro.
