0-3 sucks

How many teams have started 0-3 and made the playoffs? I doubt very many.

Wow, you make a hell of a point. 0-3 does suck. I can't argue with that.

That doesn't mean the team sucks. Losing close games to the best in the league is not something teams that suck do.

I don't think anyone on here has the right to talk shite to other posters even if you have 92,000 posts. Why is it that you think sitting here posting a 100 times a day gives you any more rights than anyone else? sure - any given day you can lose. the issue is that early on in the Payton tenure, we won at home a lot - and made it a tough place to play, so the fans came to believe that at home we could not lose.

its such a shock to fans that we can lose at home, they believe we "suck" and its not neccesarily true - it just proves that any given sunday, and team can lose.

So the 2009 Saints, who lost to the 3-13 Bucs at home, suck now?

were we 0-3 after 3 games with one of those losses coming to Tampa Bay at home?

My bad, we're really a very talented team and are getting ready to turn this ship around. WHO DAT

ok, thanks for playing

ETA: before you ask "was Tampa Bay a bad team that year when they barely beat us at home?" allow me to preemptively answer that for you:

Ah, I didn't see all of that included in your stupid question:

So apparently the answer is Yes, or no. Your structure is awful

that was your question - who cares if we were 0-3 or 3-0 - the way a lot of you are, you would be bitching the same tired shite either way.

the fact is we don't "suck" - we are a young team, getting our legs under us - most games have been close, and against 2 decent teams int he NFL - i will not make excuses about the Tampa game - we just plain got wrecked.

all of this is truth, except there is one major excuse for the Tampa game: Brees was playing on a shoulder that couldn't shoulder. He severely under-threw a wide open Cooks that would've been a touchdown along with all the other dead ducks that left his hand

Are you on drugs? We won our first 3 games then proceeded to win 10 more in a row. Then we lost 3 in a row. We didn't started the season 0-3. But I get your point, we will probably win the super bowl this year.

I had to go back and re read that. NOw I see the similarities you are trying to point out. This team is very similar to the 2009 team in that both lost 3 games with one of those being at home to Tampa Bay. Only difference is that those losses came at the end of the season in 2009 and at the beginning in 2015. Both ended 13-3 with a superbowl victory so what difference does it make when the losses occurred.

Own Drew and Cooks in fantasy. That play hit me hard as a fan and cost me my week 2 game.

I answered your posited question Bro Namath. You can't change the dialogue midstream to create the illusion that you were arguing something different than you were in fact arguing.

None of this changes that you say a team that is 0-3 "sucks" regardless of all other factors. By you positing this contention, you have in fact deemed the super bowl winning Saints team one that did indeed "suck."

there is a big difference between sitting here o-3 with a loss at home to Tampa Bay (who is not one of the better teams in the league as you say) and being 13-3. What is so hard to understand about that? If we go on to win the rest of our games and end the season 13-3 and win the super bowl then I would have to admit that the seasons were similar and that you made a good argument.
