Man, I wonder who came up with this innovative approach on defense: turnovers and better field position!

I kinda thought it was always the job of the defense to get turnovers and create better field position every down they're on the field; didn't realize there had to be a special operation.

We've all heard that shite before.

2009 was the only year they made it happen.

So the Saints defense has made it a priority to getting more turnovers and create better field position for their offense.

I think we've heard this before.

Didn't they focus on turnovers last year? How'd that work out?

They need to implement "Operation: Tackle the ball carrier" and "Operation: Pressure/sack the QB"

I know this will sound all “Debbie Downer”-ish, but if I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard this “we’re emphasizing turnovers” talk…

I'm noticing that just reading Vaccaro's name reminds me of that hail Mary where he blew it.

Kaep just threw the ball in the air and it stayed there for like three minutes.
Completion.

That's really good to hear out of Vaccaro especially. This is something this team needs. Some intensity, some fire.

I've done a pretty good job of erasing that sequence from my memory... Thanks, Hoodoo...

Me too... Badly... I actually have semi-insider info.

I went to HS with Chris. We graduated together. I know him pretty well. We weren't super close or anything but it's hard to not know about the local "star," and we had some mutual friends so I hung out with him sometimes.

I will tell you this about Chris: he has a drive like no one I have ever met. He will work as hard as he can to be the best he can be. He's kind, and cares about others more than most. He is a natural leader. People gravitate toward him and listen when he talks.

I always knew all of this. What I didn't know was how explosive of an athlete he was. He was always good but never like on the level that he showed at the combine. His physical traits combined with what I know about him as a worker and a leader assures me that he will be a good player in this league.

Now, all of that said.. His stock is rising... I would be HAPPY to take him in the third. I am that confident. It feels like a "reach" but he's the real deal.

This. I'm beginning to think Sharper must have drugged opposing QB's gatorade before he raped them during the games.

I'd also like to see the Saints draft Conley

Anytime they talked to Richt on the radio about leaders, Conley was the first name he mentioned. He said one time he wished he could copy him and make 84 more just like him

Yeah, he's on our list.

edt: I also noticed he played some safety in HS so he could contribute to ST. IDK if he played any ST at Georgia or not.
