Kind of a weak excuse but as the saying goes a poor excuse is better than none.... most of the time

I dont believe him that he didn't know. Players get suspended all the time for it and i'm fairy sure they can just ask some team official what they can or cant take.

Quite honestly I dont care what he is on if the plays well.

Isn't it out of your system extremely fast? Like 1-2 days

Seems like really bad luck, not buying it

Not that it matters to me.

Not buying it either. I have an in-law that knows him fairly well and he is not buying it either.

Vaccaro admitted to ESPN’s Mike Triplett that he did not know taking Adderall was against the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Then Vaccaro told Triplett why he took it: to get a boost of energy for the Texas State Fair and before watching his brother play in the Texas-Oklahoma game after that.

I doubt this is true.

But I hope it is. I would feel better knowing he just didn't know the rules & messed up rather than knowing that his massive improvement in 2016 was because he was taking adderall on game day

Does the almost 3/4 of a million dollars he lost for those games go into our salary cap space for next season?

So it should be 4/17ths of his base salary ($400k total) AND 4/17ths of the prorated portion of ($305k total). So yeah, it should be $705k back to the cap. Pretty insignificant this year since we won't be fighting to get under the cap before FA.

I cannot imagine playing football on it. It dehydrates the hell out of me. I would think you would cramp up severely. Now baseball it would probably be a wonder drug

I'm sure he knew it was banned after all it is an amphetamine and can be habit forming. He should have known better. I hope he learns his lesson and shuts his mouth and just lets the attention fade.

To help study for his history final?

Don't really see this as a performance enhancing drug at all.

He probably knew but didn't plan on being tested shortly after. I really doubt he's actually trying to get a performance boost from it. The only people who really could get a performance boost would be track and endurance athletes, if you're not in shape cardiovascularly halfway through the season as a football player, adderall isn't going to help.
